Advisory Board / Prof Jon Kerbs
Professor Jon Kerbs is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College. He teaches the core Marketing course in both the Undergraduate and MBA programs.
Prior to teaching at Boston College, Jon spent over 25 years in industry, both on the B2C and B2B side of marketing. He has deep marketing experience in the packaged goods, retail, higher education, and technology sectors. His career has spanned assignments from Procter & Gamble and Lens Crafters to entrepreneurial start-ups. Before his business career, Jon served seven years on active duty in the United States Army serving in key command and staff positions. Jon’s most recent assignment before Boston College was Director of Solutions Marketing for Harvard Business Publishing.
Jon’s areas of expertise include branding, product management, sales promotion, advertising, marketing strategy, business development, internet marketing, public relations, retail marketing, and product development. In addition to teaching, Jon consults with entrepreneurial start-ups and is currently advising two companies.
