According to research, almost 50% of autistic children with autism have attempted to “wander” after the age of four.  But Project Lifesaver has a solution that allows them to locate a missing person within a half hour if they’re wearing a transmitter.


New Explanation for Rise in Autism

A new study from Penn State University finds that 97% of the increase in autism diagnoses, between 2000 and 2010, may be due to different approaches to classification.  According to the study, practitioners may be diagnosing autism more frequently because of increased awareness and acceptance of the condition.
